Thank You, Bay County: Bay Radiology Honored in Best of Bay 2026
For the third year in a row, Bay County has chosen Bay Radiology as Best Imaging Center in the Best of Bay Community’s Choice Awards.
There is something especially meaningful about being recognized by the people you care for every day. Best of Bay is decided through community nominations and votes, so this honor comes directly from our patients, neighbors, referring physicians, friends, and families.
To everyone who took the time to vote for us, thank you. We don’t take that trust lightly.
Three Years of Recognition, Nearly Seven Decades of Trust
Bay Radiology has called Bay County home since 1958. A lot has changed in that time, both in our community and in the field of medical Imaging. What started as a small local radiology group has grown and evolved alongside the people we serve.
Being named Best Imaging Center for three consecutive years feels like another chapter in that long relationship.
For us, this recognition isn’t simply about being the place where someone gets an X-ray, Ultrasound, mammogram, or DEXA scan. Imaging often happens at an uncertain point in someone’s healthcare journey. Maybe something hurts. Maybe a screening is overdue. Maybe a doctor saw something that needs to be checked. Whatever brings someone through our doors, we want them to leave knowing their exam was handled carefully and their health was taken seriously.
The People Behind Every Image
Technology has transformed radiology, but great Imaging still depends on the people behind it.
Our three Board Certified, Fellowship Trained Radiologists bring different strengths to the practice. Dr. Lindsey Weintritt Davis leads our Women’s Imaging Center with specialized expertise in Breast Imaging. Dr. Emily Billingsley brings advanced training in musculoskeletal Imaging, while Dr. Lloyd Logue brings decades of diagnostic radiology experience along with a long history of medical leadership in Bay County.
They’re supported by experienced Technologists and administrative and support staff who guide patients through everything from scheduling and check-in to the exam itself.
An accurate study starts with the person performing the exam, continues with the quality of the images being captured, and ultimately depends on the Radiologist interpreting what those images show.
Continuing to Invest in Better Imaging
Medical Imaging has changed enormously since 1958, and continuing to evolve with it is part of our responsibility to the community.
Recent investments include advanced Breast Imaging technology such as GE Senographe Pristina 3D Mammography systems, which provide highly detailed layered views of breast tissue while delivering the lowest patient dose among FDA-approved 3D Mammography systems. We’ve continued that investment across the practice, with newer Ultrasound, digital X-ray, DEXA, and specialized Breast Imaging technology available to patients here in Bay County.
Patients may not always realize how much the equipment behind an exam can influence the images themselves. Advanced technology can capture clearer information, reveal subtle findings, reduce unnecessary repeat Imaging, and give the care team better information for decisions about what comes next.

Showing Up for Bay County
Being part of a community for nearly seven decades means caring about what happens outside the Imaging center, too.
Over the past year, our team has continued to speak about the importance of early breast cancer detection through local news partnerships and community education. In 2025, Bay Radiology Women’s Imaging Center also helped bring a breast cancer awareness walk back to Bay County by hosting the first Pace for Pink, bringing patients, survivors, caregivers, families, and neighbors together around a cause that touches so many lives here.
Those moments matter to us for the same reason this Best of Bay award does. We don’t simply work in Bay County. This is our community.
